On August 31, 2009, Acacia Automotive executed the documents setting into motion its acquisition of Chattanooga Auto Auction. Those documents included a Management Agreement under which Acacia will manage the auction until December 26, 2009, at which time the Asset Purchase Agreement becomes effective. December 26th coincides with the closing of the seller's fiscal year, and allowed for a more orderly transition of ownership. Chattanooga Auto Auction is a beautiful facility nestled on 56 acres with modern structures housing more than 70,000 square feet under roof, including its administrative areas, auction arena, check in, reconditioning, security, and mechanical center. It is centrally located between Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, and Knoxville and is near the apex of I-75, I-24, and I-59, and just one exit from the airport. The auction offers simulcast selling through Online Ringman, hosts the GSA sale, and has many great clients in place. The potentials at this auction are fantastic, and the entire staff is excited in looking to the future.

Acacia Automotive acquired Augusta Auto Auction on July 10, 2007. Operations began July 11th under our new ownership, and we have enjoyed consistent improvement in sales and revenues since then. That is no small feat, considering we were deeply involved in remodeling for the first two months, updating our technology equipment, installing a new auction operating software system, changing our accounting systems, and doing all this with a very small crew that included mostly new employees! While we certainly had our hands full and faced more than our share of problems related to all these changes, we are more than pleased with these outstanding results. After many non-recurring expenses and other expenditures required to modernize the facility and its equipment, the future looks bright for Augusta, and we welcome you to come see why it promises to be a real growth vehicle!

As we finish implementing and conforming our updated and expanded A.S.I. auction operating system software and technologies to meet our needs, we will offer a fantastic new array of services, including static and simulcast selling via Internet and much more. We anticipate having much of this in place and working smoothly in 2010, and will expand our other services on a regular basis.
